Attaching the Wi-Fi BacPac the the back of your GoPro camera, lets you do all kinds of cool stuff:
- Control your GoPro camera remotely via the Wi-Fi remote (range up to 180 meters or 600 feet radius)
- Preview, playback and control your GoPro remotely using the GoPro App on your smartphone or tablet
- Easily and quickly transfer your videos and pictures via WiFi from your GoPro camera to your Smartphone or Tablet
- Live stream video or pictures directly to the web from your GoPro, anywhere a network connection is available
- Live stream video or pictures directly to the web using your Smartphone as a hotspot

Important Notes:
- The WiFi remote is not included in this package. Please see the Wifi BacPac + Remote Combo Kit if you need it.
- The WiFi remote does not need a wireless network to connect to. It creates its own.
- You need to do a software update to your camera before using your Wi-Fi kit (Click HERE to download it for free)
- The original HD HERO is only compatible with the Wi-Fi Remote. It does not support GoPro App and video + photo live streaming.
- The HD Hero 2 is compatible with everything.
- Using your smartphone as a hotspot only works if your mobile phone service provider supports this service.
- iOS 4 and Android OS 2.2 and later devices are supported.
- GoPro smartphone app for live streaming and sharing not yet available. Coming soon.
